When it comes to providing the best duty of care for your boarding students, security and privacy should be a paramount concern for you. It’s one thing to keep your student’s data private and secure (read about our commitment to student data privacy) but it’s also just as important to ensure you’re keeping an accurate record of everything that’s happened - An audit log for all your student and staff’s activities. For instance, you might be asked to provide details or evidence about one of your students leave on a particular day. You may have to provide information about when it occurred, who’s responsible for signing them out, what leave type was used or where the leave was taken. That’s why Boardingware has just released a new Auditing tool, so you can keep an accurate record of all your activities that have occurred in Boardingware and quickly find details about a specific activity, even if it happened 5 years ago.Now your school and in particular, your IT administrators, will have the right tools to ensure your residential program complies with your school's information processing obligations.Find out more about our auditing tool below:[caption id="attachment_1029" align="aligncenter" width="1501"]

Quickly find what you need
In some situations you may be required to recover and provide information from your audit log. You may even be required to dig up records from years ago.Luckily with Boardingware, you can use powerful filters and search queries to quickly find the information you need in a matter of seconds.Filter your results by action type (Create, update, delete, get, login) or record type, select a certain date range or just type in a custom value to search the entire audit log.If you have any questions, comments or suggestions, please don’t hesitate to leave a comment in the section below.
